2021.6.18. EMC2 디지털 자산 거래지원 종료 공지 관련하여 다음과 같이 거래지원 종료 사유를 정정하고, 업비트 디지털 자산 거래지원 종료 정책에 의거, 본 공지 게시 후 10일 이내인 2021. 7. 3. 12:00에 거래 지원을 종료합니다.

<종전 거래지원 종료 사유>

• "아인스타이늄(EMC2)은 1)팀 역량 및 사업 2) 정보 공개 및 커뮤니케이션 3) 기술 역량 4) 글로벌 유동성에서 낮은 평가를 받아 소명 요청을 하였으나, 별도의 회신을 받지 못하였습니다. 이에 소명 의지가 없다고 판단되어 거래 지원 종료를 결정하였습니다."

<정정된 거래지원 종료 사유>

• "아인스타이늄(EMC2) 팀의 소명 내용에도 불구하고, 1)팀 역량 및 사업 2) 정보 공개 및 커뮤니케이션 3) 기술 역량 4) 글로벌 유동성 등의 평가에서 당사 거래지원 기준에 미달한 것으로 최종 판단하였습니다."

EMC2 디지털 자산에 대한 거래지원 종료 사유를 정정하는 이유는 다음과 같습니다.
업비트는 2021. 6. 11. EMC2 디지털 자산에 대해 유의 종목으로 지정하고, 같은 날 프로젝트 팀에게 유의 종목 지정 사유에 대해 소명하도록 요청하였습니다. 업비트는 지정한 일시까지 프로젝트 팀으로부터 소명 내용을 전달받지 못하여 2021. 6. 18. 거래지원 종료 결정을 하고 위와 같이 공지하였습니다.

그런데, EMC2 프로젝트 팀은 2021. 6. 18.(금) 07:50 업비트에 소명 메일을 보냈다고 주장하여 확인해 본 바, 프로젝트 팀은 업비트가 소명 요청을 보낸 메일 주소(업비트가 통상 프로젝트 팀과 소통하는 메일 주소)가 아닌 다른 메일 주소로 소명 내용을 보냈고, 당사의 스팸 필터링 시스템으로 인해 프로젝트 팀의 소명 메일이 스팸함에 격리되었습니다. 이로 인해 업비트는 EMC2 프로젝트 팀의 소명 메일을 확인할 수 없었고 위와 같이 거래지원 종료 공지를 하게 된 것입니다.

EMC2 프로젝트 팀의 이의제기에 따라 격리된 메일 시스템을 검색한 결과, 업비트는 2021. 6. 21.(월) 15:22 프로젝트 팀이 보낸 메일을 확인할 수 있었습니다. 이에 따라 금일까지 업비트는 프로젝트 팀의 소명 내용을 면밀히 검증하였으나 소명 내용만으로는 거래지원을 계속 유지하기 어렵다고 최종 결정하였습니다.

따라서, 업비트는 위와 같이 거래지원 종료 사유를 정정하고, 본 공지를 게시한 후 10일 이내인 2021. 7. 3. 12:00에 거래 지원을 종료합니다.

거래지원 종료 시까지 급격한 시세 변동이 발생할 우려가 있으므로 해당 디지털 자산을 보유하거나 거래하시는 회원님들께서는 각별히 유의하여 주시기 바랍니다.

Reason for termination of EMC2 Digital Asset Market Support and Temporary Correction of Market Support Termination

2021.06.18. EMC2 Digital Asset Market Support Termination Notice corrects the reason for termination of market support as follows, and terminates Market support 12:00 on 2021.07.03 within 10 days of posting this notice according to the Upbit Digital Asset Market Support Termination Policy.

 

• "Einstinium(EMC2) was poorly evaluated in 1) team capabilities and business 2) information disclosure and communication 3) technology capabilities 4) We requested an explanation due to the low evaluation in global liquidity, but We did not receive a separate reply. Therefore, It was determined that there was no will to explain, so we decided to terminate the market support."

 

• "Despite the explanation of the Einsteinium (EMC2) team, 1) team capabilities and business 2) information disclosure and communication 3) technology capabilities 4) In the evaluation of global liquidity, etc., it was finally determined that it did not meet our market support standards."

The reasons corrected the reason for the termination of market support for EMC2 digital assets are as follows.
Upbit designated EMC2 digital assets flagged on 2021.06.11 and asked the project team to explain the flagged designation reasons on the same day. But Upbit did not receive the explanation from the project team until the designated date, so it was determined to terminate the market support on 2021 6.18 and announced as above.

However, EMC2 project team claimed to have sent a explanation mail to Upbit 07:50 on 2021.06.18(Fri) and the project team sent the explanation mail to an email address other than the one that Upbit usually communicates with the project team. Due to this, Upbit could not check the explanation mail of EMC2 project team and announced the termination of the market support as above.
Upon searching for the isolated mail system following objections from EMC2 project team, Upbit was able to confirm the mail sent by the project team at 15:22 on 2021.06.21(Mon) Accordingly, Upbit has thoroughly verified the project team's explanation until today, but decided that it is difficult to maintain the market support only with the explanation.

Therefore, Upbit corrects the reasons for the termination of the market support as above, and terminates the market support 12:00 on 2021.07.03 within 10 days of posting this notice.

There is a possibility that there will be a sudden change in the market price until the termination of the market support, so please pay attention to the users who own or trade the digital assets.

Upbit will continue to improve procedures and systems related to market support to prevent such incidents in the future.
